Anti-surveillance fashion for the runway.
Privacy Runway fuses civic education with fashion to help young people recognize, debate, and resist harmful surveillance practices. We co-create anti-surveillance looks using adversarial patterns, reflective textiles, and silhouette modulation, built to slip past automated recognition.
On September 11, 2026, the project stages its first-ever Privacy Fashion Show in New York. Six designers present four anti-surveillance looks on the runway, followed by a panel conversation and a networking reception, connecting fashion to democratic participation and civic engagement.
Six confirmed designers present four anti-surveillance looks — one a three-person team — using adversarial patterns, reflective textiles, and silhouette modulation built to slip past automated recognition.
Designers, technologists, and privacy advocates discuss surveillance, consent, and what it means to dress for a world of automated recognition.
Meet the designers, the makers, and the privacy community over drinks after the show. Open to all guests.
Doors open at 7:00 PM.
